Article I. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Yoga Corner website and Yoga Corner services. Yoga Corner is officially located at Herenstraat 96, 2291 BK, Wateringen, and is listed in the Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 85884901.


Article II. The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy and any or all Additional Agreements.

  1. Additional Agreements: Any additional Terms or Conditions made applicable to a specific service, workshops, course, retreat or training organized by Yoga Corner.

  2. We, us, our: Yoga Corner and its studio(s). 

  3. Classes: Indicate any regular occurring class we offer on our regular weekly schedule, excluding paid or free workshops, retreats, events.

  4. Classes Online & On-Demand: Indicates classes or workshops we deliver via any online platform. An on-demand class implies that the class was pre-recorded and thus, no teacher is available to answer or observe the client's activites.

  5. Schedule: Class arrangement listed on Yoga Corner’s website, Momence booking system or app.

  6. Workshop: Specialty yoga class(es) on different focuses to improve or complete the regular yoga practice. Such classes are planned regardless of the regular studio schedule. 

  7. Retreat: Yoga classes and travel program hosted by Yoga Corner or in collaboration with 3rd-party partners domestically or internationally.T

  8. Teacher/trainer/instructor: Professional yoga teacher(s) working exclusively or non-exclusively for Yoga Corner.

  9. Client", “You”, and “Your” , “his”, “her”, student, practitioner, participant refers to the person accessing this website, or the person who has booked or participates in a service such as classes, workshops, courses, events, retreats or training provided or coordinated by Yoga Corner and accepting Yoga Corner Terms and Conditions.

  10. Yoga Corner Member: A client of Yoga Corner with an active class card, membership or someone who participates in classes.

  11. Teenager - a child aged from 13 till 18 years old. 

  12. Yoga Corner services: Including but not limited to: group or private yoga or movement or meditation classes, courses, workshops, events or retreats; memberships, class cards. 

  13. Website: The website of Yoga Corner: www.yogacorner.nl

  14. Membership/subscription/autopay/auto-renew: A monthly committed membership which allows the buyer to attend unlimited classes during the paid period until expires or cancelled.

  15. Cards or Class Packs: a 5-class or 10-class package which allows the students to attend 5 or 10 classes at Yoga Corner. These cards have an expiration date depending on the card you choose. These cards are activated from the first booking.

  16. Y/C Month Membership: The membership which allows to book all classes (in person and online) in a month period. It is renewed automatically each month. It can be cancelled at any time. The cancellation affects the month following the current one. This membership is activated from the first booking.

  17. Y/C Year Membership: The membership allows you to book all classes (in person and online) during the year. It is renewed automatically each month. This membership is a 12 month commitment. This membership is activated from the first booking.

  18. Y/C Month/Year Teen Membership: The membership is built on the basis of the Y/C Month/Year membership described in subarticle 16/17 with all the conditions applied. These memberships can be purchased for the teenagers of 13-18 years old by their parents/guardians.

  19. Y/C Month/Year Online Membership: The membership allows you to book all classes online in a month/year period. It is renewed automatically each month. The cancellation conditions of Y/C Month/Year memberships described in subarticle 16/17 apply.

  20. Y/C Founding Membership: The membership is designed for the friends and supporters of Yoga Corner idea. It allows to book all classes (in person and online) during the business in operation.

  21. One free week and join our newsletter: The subscription allows you to book all classes during 7 days. This membership is free. It also allows you to sign up for the Yoga Corner newsletter. You can always unsubscribe yourself from the newsletter at any time. This membership is activated from the first booking and can be used one time.

  22. Single drop-in class: a single yoga class at Yoga Corner to be attended and paid by the students, other than on the basis of any subscription or other paying class packs.

  23. Event: An event is when Yoga Corner offers special or regular services in our or external locations, possibly in partnership with another organization(s), where our services are integrated or offered in a special situation.

  24. Price: The total price of a service, including the deposit. It may or may not include VAT. Early-Bird Price: A discounted price that is conditional that the participant pays the full discounted price by a specific (early) date, stated on the workshop or event page.

  25. Force Majeure: An unexpected event such as a war, crime, pandemic or an earthquake which prevents someone from doing something that is written in a legal agreement. Yoga Corner is not liable under these circumstances for non-performance caused by events or conditions beyond Yoga Corner’ control. This provision does not relieve the Client of its obligation to fulfil payment obligation.


    Article III. Schedule and opening.

  26. In the event of force majeure, unforeseen circumstances, including illness or transportation problems of the teacher, Yoga Corner reserves the right to change our schedule at any time, to cancel a yoga class(es), training day and/or to change the teacher or move our services to an online platform.

    a) In the case of total cancellation, there will be no refund of any fees.

    b) Yoga Corner is not responsible for travel fees, or any expenses incurred by you as a result of such cancellation. c) All clients will be taken out of the booked class if they signed in in advance and may use the session in another day or time.

  27. Yoga Corner reserves the right to close its doors on public holidays or on other days as needed with the timely communication.

  28. In the event that we must close due to repairs or personal emergency, due to public health circumstances, war, force majeure, for 15 days or more, Yoga Corner will offer compensation in future extension of class cards or memberships.

    a) Closure under 15-days: we will not be responsible for compensation.

    b) If we continue to offer our session online, instead of in person in our studios, we consider this to be a fulfilment of our obligation to serve.

    c) Client has the right to request a pause until our studio classes resume, but within limits due to the circumstances.


    Article IV. Limitation of liability.

  29. Yoga Corner strongly recommends that you consult with your family doctor before beginning any exercise program. You should be in good physical condition and be able to participate in the exercise. It is the clients’ responsibility to ensure that they are capable of undertaking stenuous physical activities, yoga or other activity classes, workshop, retreat regardless if with a live teacher, online or on demand (online).

  30. Clients accept the risk of injury from performing yoga or other exercises. When participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is the possibility of physical injury. If you engage in this exercise or exercise program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of your injury and the injury of your teenage child to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Yoga Corner and its teachers from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown.

  31. The prices of packages, subscriptions or single drop-ins may be adjusted without prior notice, and the previous purchases are not subject to the refund of price differences. 

  32. Terms & Conditions, and all fees are subject to change without prior notification.

  33. Yoga Corner and all contractors used by Yoga Corner are not a licensed medical care provider. This means that it has no expertise in diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind, or in determining the effect of any specific exercise on a medical condition.

  34. It is the responsibility of the student to notify teachers of any previous injury, illness, or conditions that may impact their practice.

  35. You will be offered to follow the instructions given to you by Yoga Corner teachers and you acknowledge that you are responsible for the choice of following them. You know your body the best.

  36. In attending classes at Yoga Corner, you agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Yoga Corner or its teachers for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

  37. Although we strive to only provide correct information on our website, we are not liable for any inaccuracy and no rights can be derived therefrom.

  38. By booking into a class you automatically agree to the above Terms & Conditions


    Article V. Participation of minors.

  39. The account for a teenager child aged 13-18 years old can be made in the system by his parent/quardian. By doing so the parent/quardian accepts the Privacy Policy of Yoga Corner.The teenager can book and participate in a yoga class together with adults under the supervision of his parent/guardian.


    Article VI. Class packs and memberships. Cancellation.

  40. Y/C Year membership is the membership with 12 months commitment (monthly auto-renew). It includes unlimited membership for 12 months paid every month. You will be charged for the membership on the same day of each month for your monthly payment via the payment methods you provided. You can update or change your payment method in your online account or in the studio. Membership can be paused for consecutive six (6) weeks per 12 months unless you have a note from a doctor. Your subsequent monthly auto payment will shift forward by a commensurate number of calendar days. Pause requests must be made in writing by emailing info@yogacorner.nl. Please allow 48 hours to process the request. A 30 euros processing fee will be applied. The membership with 12 months commitment cannot be cancelled, unless there is a note from the doctor. In the case there is a note from the doctor the cancellation request can be sent to info@yogacorner.nl. A processing fee of 85 euros will be applied.

  41. If the monthly auto payment fails for any reason, then the membership may be paused until being successfully charged. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that there are sufficient funds available to cover the monthly auto payment. Should a payment be declined for any reason, Yoga Corner reserves the right to process payment at any time to settle any debt owed. If auto payments fail for 2 payments or more, Yoga Corner may cancel the membership.

  42. All account debts must be settled before cancellation of membership, this includes all late cancellation and no-show fees incurred.

  43. Yoga Corner is not responsible for additional bank fees that may incur from the bank. Bank fees are under the terms and conditions of contractual agreements that lie between the clients and their bank.

  44. Cards or class packs (5 or 10 classes) that have yet to be used may have the amount of the package transferred to an account credit. Unless stated otherwise, 5-class pack will expire 3 months after first use. 10-class pack will expire 6 months after first use. Class packs sold during promotional period may have longer validity. Any unused part of the class packs cannot be turned into credits.

    Article VII. General Guidelines & Code of Conduct.

  45. Yoga Corner is not responsible for the safekeeping of the personal belongings. We strongly advise not to bring any valuable things to the studio. The participants are expected to leave all their personal belongings including (except the yoga props and the water bottle) in the designated area of the reception.

  46. Arriving on time is required in order to enter the room at least 5-minutes prior to start of class, workshop, or training. Late arrival will be treated as No-Show, mean no entrance with no refund.

  47. The front doors will be locked 5 minutes before the class starts.

  48. Clients are requested to wear a form or dress appropriate to the practice of yoga and other movement classes. Clothing should cover private parts, be hygienic and clean and free from strong smells or cologne.

  49. No shoes are allowed in the yoga practice space.

  50. No cell phones are allowed in the yoga practice space.

  51. Clients are requested to give written notice to Yoga Corner of any change of email or contact number. Failing such notice, all communications sent by Yoga Corner shall be assumed to have been received by the Client within 5 days of emailing to the last email address notified to the Yoga Corner.

  52. Yoga Corner reserves the right to withdraw, suspend or refuse our services without any refund of any service fees paid already, to any Client whose conduct is, or may deemed to be in reasonable opinion, injurious to the character or sphere of Yoga Corner; or persons who do not observe Terms & Conditions; or where such expulsion is otherwise to be in the interests of the other Clients or Staff.

  53. Yoga Corner reserves the right to refuse entry if the participant deemed inadmissible.


    Article VIII. Reservations and cancellations.

  54. Before a yoga class Client must report to the reception desk of Yoga Corner and personally sign in via the system.

  55. All classes are available for online booking up to 30 minutes in advance.

  56. The booking is valid until 5 minutes before the class starts.

  57. Client can cancel his/her booking up to 2 hours before the class starts by using our online booking program. This is considered an "Early Cancellation" and the client is not charged for the reservation. This can be done in a client account.

  58. Cancellations less than 2 hours before the start of class are considered as a "Late Cancellation".

  59. Consequences of Late Cancellation or a No-Show (reserving but not showing up to class and not informing the studio in time) are:

    a) For the members with a class card: this class will be charged from your card.

    b) With a membership or free week trial we charge a 5 euro Late Cancellation or No-Show fee.

  60. Yoga Corner reserves the right to change our policies for Late Cancellation and Now-Show including the fees or the time limit or both.

    Article IX. Governing Law and Dispute Settlement.

  61. Dutch laws applies exclusively to the Terms and Conditions.

  62. Any disputes in connection with the Terms and Conditions, or the participation in a class, workshop, retreat or event, as the case may be, will be resolved exclusively by a certified mediator in Westland or Den Haag (Netherlands).

  63. Please note that Yoga Corner cannot be held responsible for the individual behaviour of any other person, client or group member.
